- Take advantage of on-campus events like The Dean Parks Colloquium, plays produced by the Theater Department
- Ask your professors for reading suggestions and possible extra credit options before the end of the semester
- Always know your grades and standing in the class
- Notify your professors when you must miss class and make sure you complete all assignments you missed
- Make friends with another student to catch up on class notes
