Internship Description

This part-time internship gives the Journalism students an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while sharpening their writing skills in a real-world journalistic setting. This experience that you gain will positively build your resume as well as your professional credibility.

Prerequisites

Any student with demonstrated interest, experience, and/or college-level course work in print or broadcast media may apply to Dr. Terry Lee for a recommendation and enrollment in the internship. Internships are granted by Dr. Lee with a professional recommendation to the newspaper and are governed by preset criteria. For Dr. Lee's online English 491A syllabus, click here.

Journalism students also work on the CNU Captains Log newspaper. This prepares them for future internships in a professional newspaper office setting while providing valuable experience in newspaper writing and editing.
