Professional Internship in Technical Writing

Internship Description

This part-time internship links students with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies by offering them experience in technical or grant writing that are appropriate with the needs of the supervising agency. This position sharpens writing skills while providing experience in a job setting. This internship will help build a strong resume as well as professional credibility and confidence.

Prerequisites

Before a student is awarded an internship, they must have successfully completed specific courses in technical writing ( English 355, 362, 350) or employment in the technical writing field prior to registering for an internship. Internships are awarded only by the faculty advisor, Dr. Jean Filetti according to preset criteria.
